Join the Littleton Trail Crew: Volunteer for Trail Maintenance

We invite you to join us as a volunteer on the Littleton Trail Crew! Whether you’re an experienced carpenter, construction worker, or simply passionate about preserving the natural beauty of Littleton, we need your help. Our mission is to create and maintain trails for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike, and we could use your skills and expertise. We’re currently working on various projects, including boardwalk building, kiosk and sign installations, trail clearing and building, and more. No matter what your skill level, we need your help. So come on out, meet new people, enjoy the fresh air, and have fun while giving back to the community.

To sign up for the trail crew, please contact Jim O’Neil at [email protected]. You will be added to the Littleton Trail Crew email list and notified whenever trail work events are scheduled.

Cloverdale Invasive Devastation Before 2016 Restoration Project

Following nearly 60 years of  abandonment the Cloverdale Farm land became a virtual jungle of broken trees choked by twisting invasive Bittersweet vines.

Cloverdale Restoration Project in Progress

A massive clean-up effort was initiated in 2016 to restore the former Cloverdale Farm pasture land to its original state. Oriental Bittersweet, Glossy Buckthorn, Multiflora Rose, and other invasive plants, as well as hundreds of devasted trees, were removed by a forestry contractor. This project was made possible by a grant from the Community Preservation Committee which was approved at the May 2014 Town Meeting.
